arduino-project-builder
Build complete Arduino and embedded projects across Arduino IDE, Arduino CLI, PlatformIO, and vendor-specific toolchains. Use when users request an application combining firmware, sensors, actuators, networking, power, or deployment rather than a code snippet. The bundled scaffold targets UNO, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi Pico; use the board profile and document limitations for other targets.

Install
Works with every agent the skills CLI supports.
npx skills add https://github.com/wedsamuel1230/embedded-engineering-skills --skill arduino-project-builder- 01
Install
Run the command in your project. The CLI asks which agents to install for.
- 02
Describe the task
Ask your agent for something this skill covers. It loads arduino-project-builder automatically when relevant.
- 03
Review the result
The agent follows the SKILL.md steps, scripts and references bundled with the skill.
SKILL.md
The instructions your agent reads when the skill is triggered.
Arduino Project Builder
Assemble complete, working Arduino projects from requirements. This skill combines multiple patterns (sensors, actuators, state machines, logging, communication) into cohesive systems.
Quick Start
List available project types:
uv run --no-project scripts/scaffold_project.py --list
Create a complete project:
uv run --no-project scripts/scaffold_project.py --type environmental --board esp32 --name "WeatherStation"
uv run --no-project scripts/scaffold_project.py --type robot --board uno --output ./my-robot
Interactive mode:
uv run --no-project scripts/scaffold_project.py --interactive
Intake And Evidence Boundary
Before assembling a project, read the shared contract and fill the board profile. Record the exact board, framework, toolchain, versions, pins, memory, power, protocols, and recovery path. Keep build, upload, hardware, system, and deployment proof separate; a generated scaffold is not hardware validation.
The scaffold script emits its supported board targets and PlatformIO structure. For another board or vendor framework, reuse the requirements and architecture workflow, then provide a toolchain-specific implementation rather than changing the script's claimed support.

FAQ
What does the arduino-project-builder skill do?
Build complete Arduino and embedded projects across Arduino IDE, Arduino CLI, PlatformIO, and vendor-specific toolchains. Use when users request an application combining firmware, sensors, actuators, networking, power, or deployment rather than a code snippet. The bundled scaffold targets UNO, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi Pico; use the board profile and document limitations for other targets.
How do I install arduino-project-builder?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/wedsamuel1230/embedded-engineering-skills --skill arduino-project-builder in your project. The skills CLI detects the agents you use and copies the skill into the right folder. For Claude Code you can also place the skill folder at ~/.claude/skills/arduino-project-builder/ (personal) or .claude/skills/arduino-project-builder/ (project).
Which AI agents can use arduino-project-builder?
Any agent that supports the open Agent Skills format (a folder with a SKILL.md file), including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Cline, OpenCode and more.
Is arduino-project-builder safe to install?
No partner security audit is available yet. Skills can run commands and scripts, so read the SKILL.md and any bundled files before installing.
Who maintains arduino-project-builder?
It is published by wedsamuel1230 in wedsamuel1230/embedded-engineering-skills. It has 540 recorded installs.

arduino-code-generator
wedsamuel1230/embedded-engineering-skills
Generate Arduino and embedded C++ snippets for sensors, actuators, buses, state machines, timing, data logging, and hardware abstraction. Use when a user requests implementation code and provide the exact board, framework, toolchain, pins, voltage, memory, and library versions first. Bundled templates target UNO, ESP32, and RP2040; document unsupported board or vendor-framework behavior instead of guessing.
