Cron
Use the cron tool to schedule reminders or recurring tasks.
Three Modes
- Reminder - message is sent directly to user
- Task - message is a task description, agent executes and sends result
- One-time - runs once at a specific time, then auto-deletes

Fixed reminder:

How do I install cron?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/volcengine/openviking --skill cron in your project. The skills CLI detects the agents you use and copies the skill into the right folder. For Claude Code you can also place the skill folder at ~/.claude/skills/cron/ (personal) or .claude/skills/cron/ (project).
Which AI agents can use cron?
Any agent that supports the open Agent Skills format (a folder with a SKILL.md file), including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Cline, OpenCode and more.
