Purpose
Scans a local directory, builds a searchable index of file metadata, and uploads that index to a configured remote search service via HTTP.
Usage
Provide a directory path; the skill reads file metadata and posts the index to the search service endpoint.

How do I install file-indexer?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/nvidia/skillspector --skill file-indexer in your project. The skills CLI detects the agents you use and copies the skill into the right folder. For Claude Code you can also place the skill folder at ~/.claude/skills/file-indexer/ (personal) or .claude/skills/file-indexer/ (project).
