replica-launch
Writes the launch for an app clone: the landing page built on the positioning angle, pricing set against the original's public pricing and its users' complaints, and the App Store and Google Play listing linted against the stores' limits and copycat rules. Use when the user says "landing page", "pricing", "how much should I charge", "App Store listing", "store screenshots", "launch plan", "Product Hunt", or after /replica-brand.

Install
Run the command in your project. The CLI asks which agents to install for.
- 02
Describe the task
Ask your agent for something this skill covers. It loads replica-launch automatically when relevant.
- 03
Review the result
The agent follows the SKILL.md steps, scripts and references bundled with the skill.
SKILL.md
The instructions your agent reads when the skill is triggered.
replica-launch
Reads replica/fixes.md (the angle and the evidence), replica/brand.md,
and replica/brand.json. Writes replica/launch/: landing.md,
pricing.md, listing.json, launch-plan.md.
python3 listing.py replica/launch/listing.json # limits, claims, the original's name
Start from listing.example.json in this folder.
The rules
- No fake proof. No invented testimonials, user counts, star ratings, press logos or "trusted by" rows. An empty proof section is better than a fake one. Real beta users, with permission, are fine.
- No reviewer quotes as testimonials. The original's reviews are research.
- The original's name stays out of your app name, store listing, keywords and ads. Apple and Google reject it, and it invites a takedown.
Step 1: landing page
landing.md, section by section, then build it in the project:
- Hero: the angle as a headline (what you do, for whom), one line under it, one button. Screenshot of the real product.
- The problem: the top two "hate" themes, in plain words. Paraphrase, do not quote reviewers.
- How it works: three steps, from the core flow.
- Features: each tied to a fix from
fixes.md. Lead with the fixes, not the parity features. Parity is the price of entry. - Pricing: the table from step 2.
- FAQ: the real objections, including "can I import from {{category}} tools?" if you built an importer.
- Final call to action.
Copy in the brand voice. Run replica-design's contrast check on the page.
Step 2: pricing
pricing.md:
- The original's public pricing page and 2 or 3 alternatives, in one table, with the URL and the date read. Prices change, so the date matters.
- What reviewers said about price and billing, from
feedback.md, with counts. - The model: free plan or trial, per seat or flat, monthly and annual (annual usually 2 months free).
- Three tiers at most. Name them by who they are for.
- Fix the billing complaints in the product: one-click cancel, clear renewal emails, no surprise per-seat jumps.
- The Stripe products and prices to create (the user creates them).
Step 3: store listing
Fill listing.json, then:
python3 listing.py replica/launch/listing.json
It checks App Store limits (name 30, subtitle 30, promotional text 170,
keywords 100, description 4000) and Google Play's (title 30, short
description 80, full 4000), counts characters the way a person does, flags
ranking and price claims in short fields, emoji, wasted keyword characters,
and any name from avoid anywhere in the listing. Exit 1 on an error.
Apple's App Review Guideline 4.1 (Copycats) rejects apps that simply copy a popular app or make minor changes to another app's name or UI. Your fixes and your own brand are what get you through review, so make them visible in the screenshots and the first lines of the description.
Also prepare: screenshots at the current required sizes (check App Store Connect and Play Console when you upload, they change), privacy labels and the data safety form, privacy policy and support URLs, age rating, and review notes with a demo account the reviewer can use.
Step 4: launch plan
launch-plan.md: a waitlist or beta list before launch, analytics and error
tracking live, where the original's unhappy users talk (the Reddit threads
and communities from the research), a Product Hunt or Hacker News post that
leads with the fix, and the first 10 users to talk to by hand.
Output
replica/launch/ complete, the landing page built, listing.py passing.
Next: /replica-deploy.
FAQ
What does the replica-launch skill do?
Writes the launch for an app clone: the landing page built on the positioning angle, pricing set against the original's public pricing and its users' complaints, and the App Store and Google Play listing linted against the stores' limits and copycat rules. replica-recon
jakeschincariol/replica-skill
Reverse-engineers any app into a recon map: screen inventory, user flows, component list, inferred data model and a feature matrix, from public pages, screenshots, app store listings, help docs and the user's own account. The first step of the Replica pack. Use when the user says "clone this app", "reverse engineer X", "how does X work", "map out X", "what screens does X have", "I want to build my own version of X", "copy this app", or pastes an app's URL or App Store link and wants to rebuild it.
replica-entrepreneur
jakeschincariol/replica-skill
Researches the app being cloned and reads what its real users say in public reviews (App Store, Google Play, G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, Reddit, Hacker News, its own feature-request board), then ranks what they hate, what is missing and what is unsolved, turns it into a fix plan for the clone and a positioning angle you can sell. Every quote is real, verbatim and linked. Use when the user says "what do people hate about X", "read the reviews", "how do I make mine better", "find the gap", "what features are missing", "how do I position this", "make it sellable", or after /replica-diff.
replica-test
jakeschincariol/replica-skill
Clicks through every flow of an app clone and tests it for bugs: a test plan generated from the recon flows with happy paths and edge cases, Playwright end-to-end tests where possible, a browser click-through where not, and bug reports in a fixed format with severity, steps and evidence. Use when the user says "test my clone", "find bugs", "QA this", "click through everything", "write e2e tests", "does it work", or after /replica-build or /replica-backend.
replica-design
jakeschincariol/replica-skill
Rebuilds an app's design system for a clone: colour roles, type scale, spacing, radius, shadows and every component with its states, as design tokens plus component specs, with original assets instead of the target's logos, icons, illustrations or licensed fonts. Includes a WCAG contrast checker. Use when the user says "match the design", "rebuild the design system", "get the colours and fonts", "make it look like X", "design tokens for my clone", or after /replica-architect.
replica-diff
jakeschincariol/replica-skill
Compares an app clone against the original: a feature parity score from the feature matrix (weighted by must, should, could) with the missing list in build order, plus a screenshot layout diff that ignores colour so a rebrand does not count against you. Two standard-library Python tools. Use when the user says "how close is my clone", "compare it to the original", "what's missing", "parity check", "diff the screens", "is it ready", or after /replica-test.
replica-build
jakeschincariol/replica-skill
Rebuilds an app screen by screen from the recon map: app shell first, then the core flow as a vertical slice, then every screen with all its states, ticking off the feature matrix as it goes. Writes every line fresh, never the original's code, assets or copy. Use when the user says "build the clone", "build screen S07", "start building", "rebuild this screen", "implement the booking page", or after /replica-design.

reddit-automation
flowkit-labs/skills
Find Reddit threads where people are genuinely asking for what you offer, then draft short, genuinely helpful replies — disclosing your affiliation honestly and naming your product only when it truly answers the question. Two moves: discovery — scan the right subreddits for real needs (recommendation asks, expressed pain, competitor mentions) and rank the few threads where you can actually help; drafting — write from real experience, respect each community's self-promo rules, and keep a human in the loop to review and post. This markets on Reddit the honest way: contribute value, disclose who you are, never astroturf. Distilled from the playbook behind doany.ai's Reddit agent. Triggers on "find reddit opportunities", "reddit marketing", "reddit automation", "reply on reddit for my product", "reddit community engagement", "reddit lead gen", or any ask to turn Reddit threads into genuine, disclosed marketing replies.
