Install
Works with every agent the skills CLI supports.
npx skills add https://github.com/alirezarezvani/claude-skills --skill merge- 01
Install
Run the command in your project. The CLI asks which agents to install for.
- 02
Describe the task
Ask your agent for something this skill covers. It loads merge automatically when relevant.
- 03
Review the result
The agent follows the SKILL.md steps, scripts and references bundled with the skill.
SKILL.md
The instructions your agent reads when the skill is triggered.
/hub:merge — Merge Winner
Merge the best agent's branch into the base branch, archive losing branches via git tags, and clean up worktrees.
Usage
/hub:merge # Merge winner of latest session
/hub:merge 20260317-143022 # Merge winner of specific session
/hub:merge 20260317-143022 --agent agent-2 # Explicitly choose winner
What It Does
1. Identify Winner
If --agent specified, use that. Otherwise, use the #1 ranked agent from the most recent /hub:eval.
2. Merge Winner
git checkout {base_branch}
git merge --no-ff hub/{session-id}/{winner}/attempt-1 \
-m "hub: merge {winner} from session {session-id}
Task: {task}
Winner: {winner}
Session: {session-id}"
3. Archive Losers
For each non-winning agent:
# Create archive tag (preserves commits forever)
git tag hub/archive/{session-id}/{agent-id} hub/{session-id}/{agent-id}/attempt-1
# Delete branch ref (commits preserved via tag)
git branch -D hub/{session-id}/{agent-id}/attempt-1
4. Clean Up Worktrees
python {skill_path}/scripts/session_manager.py --cleanup {session-id}
5. Post Merge Summary
Write .agenthub/board/results/merge-summary.md:
---
author: coordinator
timestamp: {now}
channel: results
---
## Merge Summary
- **Session**: {session-id}
- **Winner**: {winner}
- **Merged into**: {base_branch}
- **Archived**: {loser-1}, {loser-2}, ...
- **Worktrees cleaned**: {count}
6. Update State
python {skill_path}/scripts/session_manager.py --update {session-id} --state merged
Safety
- Confirm with user before merging — show the diff summary first
- Never force-push — merge is always
--no-fffor clear history - Archive, don't delete — losing agents' commits are preserved via tags
- Clean worktrees — don't leave orphan directories on disk
After Merge
Tell the user:
- Winner merged into
{base_branch} - Losers archived with tags
hub/archive/{session-id}/agent-{N} - Worktrees cleaned up
- Session state:
merged
FAQ
What does the merge skill do?
Merge the winning agent's branch into base, archive losers, and clean up worktrees. Use when the user runs /hub:merge or asks to land the winning AgentHub result and tidy the session.
How do I install merge?
Run npx skills add https://github.com/alirezarezvani/claude-skills --skill merge in your project. The skills CLI detects the agents you use and copies the skill into the right folder. For Claude Code you can also place the skill folder at ~/.claude/skills/merge/ (personal) or .claude/skills/merge/ (project).
Which AI agents can use merge?
Any agent that supports the open Agent Skills format (a folder with a SKILL.md file), including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Cline, OpenCode and more.
Is merge safe to install?
No partner security audit is available yet. Skills can run commands and scripts, so read the SKILL.md and any bundled files before installing.
Who maintains merge?
It is published by alirezarezvani in alirezarezvani/claude-skills. It has 1,411 recorded installs.

Architecture, frontend, backend, QA, DevOps, security, AI/ML, data engineering, Playwright, Stripe, AWS, MS365 (stdlib-only Python tools). Use when browsing or choosing among engineering-team role skills — load only the one specialist SKILL.md you need, never bulk-load the bundle.

Use when a finance request doesn't obviously match one skill and you need to pick the right one (e.g., 'analyze these financials', 'how healthy are my SaaS metrics').

Use when you need to find the right marketing skill for a task, see what marketing capabilities exist, or get oriented in this plugin. 44 specialist skills across 8 pods (content, SEO + AEO, CRO, channels, growth, intelligence, sales enablement, ops), 59 stdlib Python tools. Routes to one skill — it does not execute marketing work itself.

Use when a growth/revenue request doesn't obviously match one skill and you need to pick the right one (e.g., 'which accounts are at risk', 'should we bid on this RFP').
engineering-advanced-skills

product-skills
alirezarezvani/claude-skills
Use when coordinating product work across the 12 bundled product sub-skills (RICE, OKRs, UX research, design tokens, competitive teardown, analytics, experiments, discovery, roadmaps, spec-to-repo, landing pages, SaaS scaffolding) or the 4 standalone product-team plugins (user stories, Apple HIG, code-to-PRD, research summarizer). Triggers on 'help me prioritize', 'plan a product experiment', 'we ship features nobody uses', 'run the discovery loop', 'is our OST sound'. Forks context to route to one sub-skill via a deterministic signal router and returns a digest; can also drive a continuous-discovery loop (Torres cadence tracker + OST linter as machine gates) or a full goal→plan→execute→verify→close run through the repo-wide agent-harness. Distinct from project-management (how to deliver vs what to build), marketing/landing (from-scratch pages), and engineering/agent-harness (the generic loop engine this orchestrator plugs into).
