IkigAI – AI-Powered Career Coach: piattaforma che integra il concetto giapponese di Ikigai per suggerire carriere in linea con passioni, competenze, bisogni del mondo e opportunità economiche.

Career Match: raccoglie informazioni dall’utente tramite chat bot (CV, competenze, interessi, valori) per proporre percorsi professionali personalizzati.

Career Coach: guida nella definizione di obiettivi, aggiornamento del profilo e crescita personale e professionale.

Tecnologia: chatbot web con Next.js, modelli AI con integrazione MCP per fonti dati esterne e sempre aggiorante.

First Phase - Literature review

We started by researching scientific articles, ... dealing with the topics to be inherent in our thesis. We used portals such as Google Scholar, DBPL.org, SemanticScholar, SCOPUS, Web of Science to retrieve:

• PDF of the article
• Title and authors
• Brief summary
• Why it is relevant
• Pros and cons of the solution

Second Phase - Develop MCP Server-Client

Setup

• git clone https://github.com/petri2212/IkigAI.git
• cd to repo
• npm install
• create .env(if you do .local) in the root of the project with the following environment variables:

• To get OPENAI_API_KEY: OpenAI_API_Key

• To get ADZUNA_APP_ID and ADZUNA_APP_KEY : ADZUNA

• To get MONGODB_URI follow this instructions : MONGODB_URI

• To get all NEXT_PUBLIC_FIREBASE_... : FIREBASE -> create a new web project -> make sure to activate in Authentication/Providers the Email and password, Link via Email and Google

• npm run dev
